Bevagna is just 30 minutes far from Perugia and one hour and a half from Rome. The origin of this hamlet, lying in the center of Umbria, date back to the Etruscan civilization. Around 80-90 BC it became a Roman municipium, called Mevania (which was probably the name of an Etruscan noble Lord).

Montefalco lies on a hill among the Clitunno, Topino and Tiber valleys. Formerly known as Coccorone, Frederick II gave it the name of Montefalco as he was used to pratice falcon hunting in this area (monte means hill and falco means falcon).

Foligno is one of the few towns, in Umbria, lying on a flat area. The town stands on the banks of Topino river and date back to the pre-Roman period, after the Romans it was ruled by the powerful Trinci family.

Assisi is a Roman town famous for being the birthplace of Saint Francis. Nowadays Assisi shows medieval streets and buildings. The Basilica of San Francesco d’Assisi still conserves the relics of the Saint.
